COUNTY MONAGHAN

Clones Golf Club, established in 1913, is located at Hilton Park, 2.5 miles from Clones on the N3 national route from the midlands through to Belfast. The current 18 hole course, laid over approximately 155 acres of rolling parklands, was designed by Dr Arthur Spring and was officially opened by Barry McGuigan on 1st August 2001.

FOUNDED IN 1916 ROSSMORE GOLF CLUB IS A BEAUTIFUL TEST OF GOLF WITH ITS SCENIC VIEWS AND UNDULATING HOLES WHICH MEANDER THROUGH AND AROUND THE BOUNDARIES OF THE WORLD FAMOUS ROSSMORE FORSET PARK. THIS PARKLAND COURSE OFFERS THE IDEAL GOLFING COMBINATION OF CHALLENGING YET ENJOYABLE GOLF OVER ITS 18 HOLES. THE COURSE IS PLAYABLE ALL YEAR ROUND AND VISITORS ARE ASSURED THE WARMEST OF WELCOMES.

Our facilities include an 18 hole parkland course, a driving range, pitch and putt area, chipping facility and two putting greens in addition to the clubhouse bar and dining facilities. Ride-on buggy, electric trolley and pull trollies are available to hire from our professional Kevin McGivern. The driving range has 10 bays with 5 of these using automated ball placement. There is also a tuition bay where our professional, Kevin, imparts his knowledge. The pitch and putt area is part of our new practice academy which comprises this area, the chipping green and putting greens. We have 6 holes developed which are a great facility for our young juvenile members, members and also our visitors. The chipping area is now in use. It has three pin positions and a bunkered area. The clubhouse is accessible throughout the year and the bar and dining areas open in line with the season and daylight hours. We open on Thursday nights all year round for our loyal local supporters and neighbours.

Concra Wood Golf Club boasts an 18 hole, par 72 championship golf course situated in Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. The golf course at Concra Wood was designed by two of Ireland’s golfing legends: Christy O’Connor Junior and Senior.
