This design intricately adds to its difficulty, ensuring both challenge and interest for players. Rush Golf club was voted best 9 hold course in Leinster in 2023.

Lisheen Springs Golf Club is a parkland course only 30 minutes from the city centre and 15 minutes from the M50. Comprising four par 5s, ten par 4s and four par 3s stretching over 7000 yards you will be tested by disguised landing areas, deceptive carries and the ever present threat of water. The artistry of the course design has embraced Mother Nature and ensures that all levels of golfers will need to display equal measures of caution and courage to survive with score intact.

Welcome to Hollywood Lakes Golf Club, Leinster's hidden gem 2022 as awarded by the Golfer Guide to Ireland .A course that is both challenging and enjoyable to all levels of golfer. Founded in 1991 and designed by Mel Flanagan, Hollywood Lakes is a 6,707 m Par-72 with a standard scratch of 72 off the back tees. The sand based greens are durable and playable year round. The mature woodland and natural lakes, as the name suggests, provide the course with its unique character and wonderful landscape and stunning views of Dublin city and Lambay island. The Academy style practice grounds include three chipping greens, driving nets, putting green and driving range with ball dispenser to help hone your game before your round and Professional Darragh Tighe is available for advice and tuition. With improvements commencing shortly on the clubhouse and proshop, we envision facilities on a par to the standard of the course. It gives us great pleasure to welcome new members, visitors and groups to our wonderful club.

Ivan Morris in his book, Ireland’s Best 9 Hole Golf Courses, published in 2015, described Foxrock Golf Club as being in the Premier League of nine-hole courses with the best greens, best set of par-four holes, best short game area, and best clubhouse. He also noted that in 1971 there were 123 nine-hole courses registered with the Golfing Union of Ireland (GUI) and just 87 18-hole courses. In the intervening years, many of the nine-hole courses were expanded to 18 holes. In 2013 there were 85 nine-hole courses registered (50 built since 1971) so Foxrock Golf Club is one of only 35 courses that have survived intact since 1971.
