The Buncrana Golf Club is located on the entrance to Buncrana and 200 meters from the Tourist Information Office and probaly better know to the locals as "The Wee Links". The sport of golf has been played on "The Wee Links" since the early 1830's and the Buncrana Golf Club has been in existence since 1890 and was formerly known as Buncrana Municipal Golf Club. In 1944 after the Buncrana Urban District Council purchased the property from the then English Landowner, the property was put in the trust of the Buncrana Municipal Golf Committee for the purpose of making Golf Facilities available to the local community.

Located in the famous seaside resort of Salthill Galway Golf Club offers the discerning visitor a Championship Standard 18 hole Parkland Course with spectacular views over Galway Bay, the Burren and Aran Islands. This fine test of golf is 5,974 metres long and plays to a par of 70 with a standard scratch of 72 off the back tees.
