Loughrea Golf Club is long recognised as one of the finest Parkland courses in the country. We have a proud tradition of providing a warm welcome to all our visitors and societies.
We offer a challenging course – always in excellent condition, and an opportunity to socalise with our members in our friendly lounge and restaurant.
The members and committees have continued to improve the length, layout and conditioning of their course over the years and have hosted many GUI events including the Connacht Junior Cup provincial qualifiers and the Connacht Cups and Shields Finals.
The Connacht Branch’s Championship Committee voted the golf course the ‘Best presented course in Connacht of 2011’ and presented an award to Captain Pat Hynes

And as a measure of its enduring quality, it remains one of the most respected venues in world golf. Ballyheigue Castle Golf Course in Kerry was opened in 1996. The nine hole golf club in Kerry is situated on mature woodland surrounding the Eighteenth Century castle in Ballyheigue. The course is situated 8 miles from Tralee Golf Club and 10 miles from Ballybunion Golf Club. The castle was built on a phased basis by the Crosbies and subsequently owned by the Leen family, Ballyheigue.

County Louth Golf Club is situated in the historic Boyne Valley region just north of Drogheda. Perched along the mouth of the Boyne estuary and within a 45-minute drive from Dublin Airport it is also within a 1 hour drive of the city of Dublin.
Our club is steeped in history having been founded in 1892 and has attained a reputation for producing great golfers over the years, both men and women.
The village of Baltray is renowned for its golf course but can also be enjoyed for its exhilarating air and panoramic views of the Cooley and Mourne mountains to the north and its six-mile-long beach over the course sand dunes.
